Happy Gatherings joined wedding professionals from all over New England last week at Elm Bank Reservation in Wellesley, MA. Our team gathered to photograph the romantic vision of Wedding Boston founder, Jennifer Murray. Jen called her French-inspired wedding, “Le Mariage” . Elm Bank is an exquisite setting with its lush perennial garden and. Greco-Roman style statuary. Also on the property are a brick mansion and a breath-taking Italian Garden with reflecting pool and fountain. Finally, did we mention the charming twig tower and chairs, rustic bird houses and lily pond?
It rained all morning, so the first half of the shoot was set up in the carriage house. The rain stopped mid-afternoon and we moved outside into the gardens. Elm Bank is a magical blend of whimsy and tradition. exotic and familiar at the same time. The Gardens at Elmbank were the perfect backdrop for “Le Mariage”.
