Well, summer is not technically over yet, but when you live in New England, you know what’s coming! Lucky for me, my photo profession helps me capture gorgeous warm weather images that I can go back to again and again when it’s “10 below” in January! As a busy New England wedding photographer, most of my photo work involves brides, grooms and marriage ceremonies all over the northeast. This June, I stayed closer to home for inspiration and I found it by the lake.
This summer I paid special attention to the natural beauty I found in my state, my town and my own backyard. I visited Lake Chauncy in Westboro, MA for the first time and Lake Cochituate in Wayland, MA for the 500th time. I learned that water has a personality, and I wanted to get to know each character better.
Our friend, Michaela, was home from college for the summer and agreed to come along on what ended up being a 2-day styled nature shoot. Thank you Michaela for your endless patience and sense of adventure. Also, thanks for agreeing to get soaking wet in Lake Cochituate and still look gorgeous! Finally, thanks to canine friend “Lola” who entertained us for an hour at Lake Chauncy. Happy End of Summer Everyone!
